I have seen this discussed and even kicked around many many times.
It has yet to cause me an ounce of trouble, a larger group, or a missed shot. In fact these rifles have performed year after year with little simple maintenance.
This has been characterized many times as a deficit as if the sun won't rise another day. I have to say it makes me wonder exactly why and it makes me believe that people will say anything to justify their choice.
This rifle was designed by a Sako team over a decade ago as an economical startup rifle and became a favorite around the world.
I think Colt is even manufacturing some.
Beretta has been one of the few that listen and improves weaknesses in designs of the T3 to T3X. I don't see the bolt as a weakness.
How many other rifle manufacturers will successfully improve on identified weakness after a decade?
I can name many that have flat refused after decades and many lawsuits. Just seems flat stupid.
Maybe this is why Beretta has been around for 500 years and the others haven't. Hope they can continue at least for my lifetime.
