I am in the middle of buying a new gun that is left handed since I own all right handed guns and was looking at the Tikka T3 in 22-250. Has anyone shot this gun or heard anything about it that is negative? All the reviews I have found say they are pretty accurate guns..Its very hard finding guns being a lefty.... even new guns..

Thanks,

I have one in a 243. Shot a deer with it this weekend. It's been the most accurate gun I've owned. Real nice easy to adjust trigger. The recoil pad isn't great but that's an easy fix and not even an issue for these light calibers. I hear people complain they don't like the plastic stocks but I like mine. I go for function over looks.

I have a tikka t3 lite stainless in .223 and it is EXTREMELY accurate. I have some nosler handloads that will put the bullets on top of each other. It shoots several factory rounds very well too. The triggers are very nice and easily adjustable. The guns scoped out are still very light in weight as well.Tikka rifles are great bang for the buck in my opinion and I will have another one soon in probably .25-06.. Buy it.. They are nice..

30-06. It shoots 180 TSX's well (only thing I tried). Took an Elk and a whitetail w/ it this year. Nice and light but still points well and shoots very good.

I have the right hand model Tikka T-3 SS in both .270 and 22-250. Great firearms. My cousin's kids all have Tikkas. Never a problem. Always accurate.

Buy it...! u wont be disapointed havnt seen any of the 22cals not shoot or any tikka for that matter.I have the LH T3 lite in 243 very accurate with all factory loads i've put down the tube.Don't let the talk about the plastic bother u its tuff as nails and well fitted...has a very good adjustable trigger that is crisp...bolt is smooth and cycles rounds with little effort...safty is easy and well placed to operate.overall great gun for the money will buy another when Berreta decides to import a LH T3 in 7-08.Good luck with what ever u decide..!

I just bought a t3 lite lefty in 243. I really like it. I haven't shot any deer with it yet but the action is butter smooth and 60 degree bolt lift is great, I think they're a very good gun for the money.I bought the ss and really think its a good looking rifle.

I have the SS lite in 7mm-08. Hunting buddy has the same gun in blue. Ours both live up to the three shot one moa guarantee with factory ammo. I have actually repeated sub 1"groups at 200yds with my handloads (half m.o.a.)

Hammer forged barrel cleans completely in less than ten patches every time.

I like it.

I had a Tikka SS Lite in .30-'06 and it was spectacularly accurate with literally load I tried. I have a book in my gun room with every target the Tikka ever shot. Never once did the Tikka shoot a group as large as one-inch; the average 5-shot group is on the order of .75". Amazing.

I eventually sold it, not because it was unsatisfactory in any way, but because I had extensive shoulder surgery. A .30-'06 in the Tikka Lite is a real handful in the recoil department.

I would love to find one in .25-'06.

I held one for the frist time today, well two of them. I thought the wood looked the best, felt better than the plastic. Bolt seemed smooth, but the magazine is cheap. The guy said if you loose it, its not cheap ($50.00 something). Also you want to make sure it latches when you put it in the gun.I thought I had it in and it fell out, ok in the house, but not in the field. I would buy it over the remington 710 or 770 for sure. I don't mean to offend anybody,

I have both the older Tikka Whitetail 595 in .223 and a T-3 Lite in ..30-06, both lefties. Both shoot great! That '06 is probably one of my favorite rifles in my stable right now. Very light and trim and accurate. The Tikka is probably the best value out there right now in a light, well-made left-handed rifle.

Other left-handed rifles available come from Savage, Remington, CZ, Browning, Weatherby, Cooper, and Sako. The Winchester Model 70's used to have a few variants in LH, but I haven't heard if the newly re-introduced Mdl 70's have any LH flavors or not.

CZ makes the 527 American in LH in .204 and .223, and the Browning Micro Hunter, which handles like wand, is available in 22 Hornet and .22-250.

I saw a video of that plastic mag getting run over by a truck.. and then put back into the rifle and functioning. Try that with a metal Mag.. that was the jist of the Vid.
