for 4 or 5 months. How depressing. Someone help me get this pistol out of my mouth. lol /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Yesterday I was cleaning out my truck. Bringing all the calling stuff inside. Couldn't help but be bummed out. Time to clean the guns and scrub the open reeds. Heck, I might even wash my hunting clothes! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Only one way to pull out of that depression. About 30 groundhogs basking in the sun ought to do it...heh heh

There ain't no bad day callin'. Tell us about the one where you made that fantastic shot, or the one about the shot where you looked around to make sure nobody saw it. Tell us about the "no chance" spur of the moment stand where theycame on the run and you smoked them. We're here for you buddy, all ears and waiting! C'mon give it up!

I've been twiddling my thumbs long enough, I'm starting to get cramps.

Woke up about 2:30 this morning to my dog barking, nothing like a beagle bark by the way. Got up, went downstairs and went to the front door..lo and behold, 2 coyotes, one with a cat in its mouth standing on the front porch. Ohhh to have a 17 right now I thought, before I realized its April. Coyote takeout I suppose. Anyway, opened the door and they split. A few minutes later, a nice long howl followed by repeated barks by coyotes up on the hill. Either they were happy to see frick and frack, or those two yahoos stumbled into someones elses territory. Lot's of foothills up here.

Need to go hammer some PD's....fast.
 
Well, Bob, Phylo and Deacon said they's supply the keg if we brought the munchies. It's just another 2 1/2 hrs. to the PD's from there.

I'm waiting for the Deacon to get back home from Winslow. He's doing some sort of railroad choo choo training or something. I understand, now this is from Phylo himself, so take it with a grain of salt /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif .....but Deacon is supposed to make it back in around 25 days or so. Now, the problem is, getting both of those yahoos together as they both drive the trains. Maybe we can shanghai one or both depending on the circumstances. I'm sure deacon will make an appearance shortly, I'll let you know.

Better get some ammo together..it's gonna happen. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif My wife caught me fondling my LTR and reminded me that such behavior is deemed illegal in a number of states....I have to get out more.
 
Buddy, I'm good to go. BTW, just got interviewed for a job in Mesa. I'm up against some strong competition, but I've got my fingers crossed.
 
Whaaaaattt? Did you hear that? It sounded like a whole PD chorus singing "You can't get us, you can't get us!" From the direction and echolocation I believe they are hanging out at beautiful Seligman, AZ right under the "BOB WHO? NASA WHAT?" sign.

BlueDe-con should be back by mid-month, so get those weeepons cleaned and hit the road, fellas.
 
Hey there my old friend . im in the same boat. way to much work long hours , and hell , i just dont feel like callin . this time of year its more of a waste of time anyways. I think ill break out the old fishin pole. And the sand dunes are callin my jeep real loud . There is alot of pleasure going out there and watching the young and dumb thrash on the equiptment . Bubba and i went out last weekend and watched the sand drags. he really liked it . I packed all my stuff in the house last weekend as well .,time to take the hard top off .LOL. Love ya man . jerry .

I was wondering who wiped out my fence! Spring cleaning.....I can relate.....found a bottle of home made trap lure under the seat that I lost in 94'. I thought that might have been what what was smelling up my truck, but finally came to the conclusion that it was the chocolate milk that my son spilled on the floor. Should be pretty good stuff by now. I was going to give it a whiff, but thought it might explode if I loosened the lid. Too bad I now live in a state where you can't use it. Shooting bench has been turned into a fly tying bench for the present. Loading up a couple hundred rounds of .22 hornet with 35gr. V-Max's to try out on whistle pigs. Spring sucks....cause now I have to catch up on all of the stuff I should have been doing during calling season.....I think I'll go fishing......
