Timney or Jard trigger

I have a Mossberg MVP LR in .308 and I want to change out the trigger. My two choices are Timney which I have some knowledge of and Jard which I know nothing about. What would you use? Both are adjustable from 1.5 to 4lb. Both cost about the same, the Jard is a little higher.

I was going to go with a Trigger Tech on my last build, but opted not to. At that time, they were only $89. I just jumped on their website and see they are now $130. IMO, at that price it would not be worth it to try one when you can get a Timney even cheaper. FWIW, I currently own 7 Timney triggers, most of them in R700. I don't think you could go wrong with any one mentioned here.

Unless they changed something, the Jard is a "kit" that you have to install in your housing. No big deal, just not a drop in part. I have used them and they work fine. Can be a little tricky to adjust at first. You order it a certain weight and it comes with the spring that sets the pull. I have found them to be dead on weight wise. They are a narrow trigger {again, unless they changed something}, so if you prefer a wide trigger you might not like the Jard. The Jard also seems to set back in the trigger guard more so than a stock factory trigger.
As far as Timney goes...I have never had one that was less than perfect.

Thanks for the input. I found the Timney for $113 at Mid South so I think that nails it decision wise. The Jard is a drop in, but I do like a "fatter" trigger. I know the Timney will do as advertised but wanted some input from any Jard users first. The stock Mossberg trigger was adjustable but has a little hic up just before it breaks. I looked at trying to stone it and clean it up, but it's a drop in as well.
