I did reassemble and have since run a few tests on it.  It seems to be fine so far.  I plan on a friged day to take it out and see if it slam fires again.  Its set at 2.25 lbs and i backed out the sear set screw more than 1/2 turn.  When it slam fired it was only backed out somewhere around 1/6 turn and was set at 1.5 lbs.  Crazy but i see no real difference in the extra .75 lbs increase when i pull the trigger.
