Timney Trigger Question

I have a question for those who have put Timney's on their AR's. I was installing a new Timney in an AR of mine and after tightening the first set of allen screws, I started to install the following set screws. The first one went in fine as usual, but the second one got cross threaded. After a bit of trouble and an epic temper tantrum, I finally got it to seat. I did screw up 3 or so threads on the anodized housing. The pins seem secure. Trigger seems to operate fine. I can't think of anything that could be be affected. Can any of you guys? Just checking. I'm sure someone on here knows a whole bunch more about this than me.

As long as it is staying in place it should be good. I'd check it after you shoot it. Did yours have any creep in the trigger? Mine does a little and so does a buddy's of mine. I contacted them and they told me to pay shipping and they would look at it. I just feel I shouldn't have to pay anything for a trigger that costs 200 bucks

Thanks for the opinion. It's kinda what I thought. This trigger's pretty crisp. No creep that I can feel. I'd be willing to bet if I measured it, it breaks at a bit more than 3#. Still feels pretty good though.

I see I am not alone with a small amount of trigger creep with the Timeny trigger in my AR.

If the first screw is tight I don't see how your problem would do any harm. Just my opinion.
