Tipped TSX?

I've been using the 140 tsx in a 270 wby since they came out. Outstanding bullet, shot two groups at 540 yards that measured 4.5", off a bipod while practicing for deer season last fall. That rifle is pure death.

I also worked up a load for a friends 7 mag with the 120 ttsx, they averaged 1.5" at 200 yards, that's as far as I shot it. He shot his deer with those at 400 yds this fall.

I currently have some 80 ttsx for my 25 wssm ar to try when the weather is better. I might wait till this summer to work with them.

they are expensive, and it will take a box at least to find a good load, because seating depth is very critical. But once you do they are very consistant and deadly on game.

I loaded up 50 tipped TSX 180 grain for a friend's 30-378. He was getting some pretty nice groups, but I don't know if he ever got to use it on elk yet. I've used the plain triple shock for years in my 25-06 with great groups and success on deer and one fox. The deer always went down with one shot. Some weren't DRT,but they were down. The fox was DRT with only about a quarter size exit hole. I'm hooked.

I am shooting a 80 gr. TTSX in my 6mm Rem. Put an antelope
buck down at 320 yard. Accuracy on paper is around 1 MOA.
A few groups under and a few groups over. The on game
performance it IMPRESSIVE.

I shoot 130 gr. TSX bullets out of my 308s(one Browning BAR
and one Savage Stalker bolt action pistol). Both shoot
sub-MOA and again the on game performance is IMPRESSIVE. I
shot one northern whitetail doe quartering toward, where she
flipped over backwards, kicked twice, and I was ready to field
dress. Several others were DRT, or DDS(Dead Deer Stumbling).

I shoot 100 gr. TSX bullets out of my 25-06 Rem. It hits like
the Hammer of Thor. Accuracy is slightly better than 1 MOA.

TTSX here...

80 TTSX in wife's .243 at 3400 and a 100 TTSX from my .260 at 3200...

The combination of penetration, destruction, and accuracy is as perfect as a hunting bullet can get at this point in time...

I a 45gr XLC in my 22Hornet for coyotes, the 85gr TSX in my 243 for deer/antelope, 130gr T-TSX in 270 for elk/deer/sheep and 168gr TSX in 30-06 for elk/moose.

I've been using Barnes since 1992. As has been said, on-game performance is outstanding.
