Do yourself a favor and go with Marshall, I have used them all and none of them hold a candle to the Marshall. Johnson is a good system but the Marshall gets a better signal and are so much more user freindly, they are well worth them money. I have the stealth and 10 Marshall collars I sold all my Johnsons and Wildlife collars and systems.
You will have alot of guys tell you how good the blue box is, but it is such a pain in the butt to put together and the Marshall still gets better distance.Guys will tell you how good the Johnson collars are and they are but they are big and bulky, you can't ever tell how much life is left on the collar and the Marshall gets a better signal further away.
Another thing I like about the Marshall collar is if the dog is dead or just sleeping the collar will skip a beat, Dog down I think they call it.
You wont regret buying a Marshall system, and you will be suprised... your buddies will buy them after seeing yours
