TRAPPING A FOX !

I have a wire cage trap That has been very good at trapping coon but I also have seen a fox & would like to trap in the cage, anybody have a good way of doing this ? I am new at trapping & would appreciate some help.

depends on what kind of fox . red fox will seldom go in a cage trap grey fox will

I always thought getting a coyote into a live trap would be impossible until I talked to some government trappers in California. They use live chickens to get them into oversized cage traps. So, if it's legal, live mice might work for a red fox. Check with your local US Dept. of Ag. Animal Control for tips and your local Game Warden for regulations concerning live bait. PC
