I am from Missouri, but if I were you I would contact the New York State Trappers Association. The president of the associaton's name is John Rockwood and his number is 315-415-4946. Never met him but he is in a position to help you out, and most trappers are great people. His and other info about the NYSTA is publilished in trapper and predator caller mag. every month.
