O.K., the Trashcan turned 35 on Sept.9 and he went out of his way to insure everybody gave cash or gift certs. Well, I finally got almost all the goodies I wanted for my rifle. Thanks to Falcon Industries, Daniel Defense, and mostly the AR15 Equipment Exchange that made modifing my rifle affordable. This afternoon my son and I finished putting all the junk on the rifle and it turned out pretty good looking. The only thing I'm a little worried about is the alignment of the gas block but anything with that can be fixed. I also want to say thanks to William Springfield of Colorado for the best 28.00 trigger job I've ever had. (PM me for details). Here are the pics!!!

I'm hoping everything runs smoothly this next weekend when I go to shot it, the gas block is my primary concern but I'll be at the ranchero all weekend so I'm thinking I can figure it out. I'll post a report next week.

PSA: The AR15 platform is fine as-is from the factory. Add optics and be happy. It has been proven that adding other accessories to this rifle will only lead to lead to massive dents in the owners pocketbook. This could lead to problems with ones significant other or creditors. Owner beware the BRD!

Thanks Weasel, the grip only ran about 20.00 and I love it. It really fits the hand good. That and the trigger job, more than anything else, have really made a huge difference.

Ron, I mounted a Leupold VX-I 4-12X40 on it. I got it from Sportsmans Warehouse for 220.00. I'm not too happy with the mount setup right now but I'm purchasing a Armalite 1 piece mount for it and that should do it. I'm really impressed with how the ACE Stock feels and I'm going to get to shoot it this weekend so I'll give a full range report on Monday. Thanks for the kind words on the set-up.
