It was like Christmas in the Tebbe home, last evening. When I got home, waiting for me was a package from Trashcan. I had purchased my first Death Card Call (in picture below) from Thomas and had anticipated it's arrival.
I've built a few hundred antler calls over the years and I'm hear to say that Thomas builds one heck of a call. The prototype epoxy finish he put on it was absolutely perfect. It was hard as a rock and had a great sheen to it. This finish will last a very long time. The bell of the call was bored thin (no easy task), finished and polished. The cowhorn tip was smooth and comfortable in the mouth. He inserted a reed sleeve for easy changing and the reed was tuned high pitch, just like I requested. The call looks great and sounds great.
I am very impressed with my new call from Trashcan. This guy has definately got antler calls figured out. If you are in the market for an antler call, don't hesitate doing business with him. It is money well spent! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif
