Trijicon Accupoint. Where made.

Trijicon is based in Wixom, Michigan but would an original accupoint be made in Japan? My Accupoint is not behaving well and I am concerned that I may have a bogus one. My serial # is on the scope where Trijicon states that it should be but it also says Made in Japan. Their web site says nothing about this when checking for authentic Trijicon product.

Thanks for the reply. I thought it was correct but having read some stories lately about bogus Leupold scopes out there and Trijicon having a statement about authentic Trijicon products on their site I needed a little reassurance. I actually have two with the green triangle. Bought them for mine and my Wife's slug guns. I am having trouble adjusting point of impact and having it stay with these scopes, took the one off and replaced it with a Leupold and sighted the gun in in one session.

Hmmm. I've had no troubles with mine thus far. Trijicon stands by their products. Maybe you should contact them. A guy who shoots with us at the club works for Trijicon, but I will not see him until after the holidays now.....
