I'm thinking about purchasing either the 3x9 or 2.5x10 accu point with the mil dot rectical. I have read several posts that the glass is clear but no one says states how they are for light transmission. I've read that they don't pull in light com paired to nikon monarch which are half the price and your just paying for the gimmic of the non battery operated lighted site. Anyone use these? Courious if the glass is higher end like zieiss or Swarovski or if it's lower end.

I have just got my first trijicon and I have had only nikon before this. Trijicon glass is clear as a bell. I am still a huge fan of nikon and will still purchase nikon. IMO trijicon is a high end glass like swarvoski and I have looked thru both side by side. Trijicon gets my vote if you have a choice and price doesn't much matter.

I would say the glass is similar to monarch x or mark 4 glass. I don't think I would rank it with German glass such as swaro, zeiss, s&b, etc. I think the only scope that might be in that class is the tars. I Definitely like their illumination features though.

Your so called gimmic tritium aim point is worth the extra money alone..let alone the awesome glass ...and the fact that they are built like tanks.

My nephew and son both use the Trijicon and it has the best light pickup power I have seen on any scope, and the illuminated green dot is great for predator hunting.

I just pulled the trigger on the amber 3x9 mil dot. I was told the amber is a little brighter than the green so I grabbed it up. I have tridium nite sights on my shotgun bead and nite guard and love them.
