Trijicon?

Which model are you talking about? If you're talking about the ACOG's, there isn't a better tactical scope out there. Period.

I like my ACOG so much I want to get one of their riflescopes just to try it out. Great glass, durable and one heckuva warranty.

The hunting scopes (Accupoints) are popular because they use tritium reticles which which do not require an outside source or batteries for illumination. IMO the Trijicon glass is pretty good but not comparable with European glass and the eye relief is not constant and has a lot of variance between powers on some models like the 2.5-10x56 which I don't particularily care for.

For a low light or night hunting scope an Accupoint is a good choice.

The green dot for the Illumination requires no batterys or any on/off switch and seems to always be right for whatever light condition is, and it is very small and crisp Illumination. Seems easier to concentrate on your target with just one tiny dot then the whole cross lit up. Seems like an excellent canidate for nite hunting under a red light. It's on my list to buy

ACOG eye relief is the worst I have tried yet. I do like their rifle 3-9x40 scope but I can't remember checking for eye relief so I don't know about them. My leupold as cheap as it was has awesome eye relief, it helps me because sometimes I can't always be in the perfect shooting position.

My ACOG ROCKS!!! Im getting 3" of eye relief and have no problem hitting dead-nuts at 300 yd.s 3x ta33-8 with ta60 mount

I have had no eye relief issues, I have 11 of their optics. For hunting as much as I do, and in all the conditions I do, I haven't found any better.

I prefer the 5-20x50, but I use the RMR a ton
and love it more every time. The 2 ACOG's I have I prefer for my truck guns.

The TARS will be my next, I have used it and put it through the paces and it is nothing short of amazing!

I have found Trijicon to be the prefect predator optic!

What rifle were you running it on?

What reticle did it have?

I am assuming it was a prototype but how was the glass compared to S&B, NF, USO, Hennie, etc...?

How was the weight?

Thanks

I'm guessing you are talking about the TARS?

I helped put on the media event for the TARS here in southern Utah. It is a new reticle built for the TARS. It is a little on the heavier side, but not so much that I would notice in the field. As for what rifle they were on, I will have to go back and double check to get the exact models. They were however the high end Savage, Steyr, Remington and others.

the clarity was amazing as was the functionality. The write ups that have came out so far were from this shoot and is was awesome!

I know this isn't much as far as details, I will get you more info when I get back to my office.

Yeah I was talking about the TARS.

Other than durability what does the TARS bring to the table that other scopes don't
