Turkey Season is coming up...what do you all use???

Mossberg 935 24" barrel
3 1/2 Federal #4 2 1/4 oz
Comp n choke xxx full

My son is using a Winchester 120 youth ,
Undertaker xx full choke
3" Win #5

Fuil De Chasse flintlock smoothbore .62 or a Remington model 11 12 guage. I shot my turkey with the smoothbore last year, and it was a blast(literally!) I like using guns that are "different", hence the model 11 as my backup gun instead of my 870..

The wife and I run Benelli Super Nova 12ga's for turkeys (and everything else shotgun-required). I run a Truglo Gobble Stopper choke with Winchester Supreme 5 shot 3.5", she runs a Primos Tightwad with Winchester Supreme 5 shot 3". Forget which is which, one's a 0.655" and one's a 0.660". Both pattern very well. She's using Truglo adjustable fiber optic sights, I'm using the same sights as a back up, but have a B-square saddle mount holding a Truglo open red dot. Both have Harris Bipods and custom pod adapters, and +2 mag extensions.

We can use lead/steel/other non-tox shot #4 through #8, and we can use steel/other non-toxic in size #2 and #3 also. So we have a pretty wide range of options.

Got to give the gun/choke/shell a field trial this weekend. Jelly headed a nice tom at 25yds, so I'd say it working pretty well!
