Two sounds at once?

So the question arose in my tiny little mind a few days ago about mixing sounds on a stand. By that I mean maybe mixing rabbit distress with crow fight, that sort of thing. I know that some of the Foxpro callers have what they call FoxFusion which lets you play two sounds at the same time. Does anybody do this sort of thing much, and if you do play two sounds at once, do you think it helps with your success?

Thanks!

We use Foxfusion quite often, and it is very effective. Never kept any comparison records to stands using single sounds, but we do know we like it a lot. It gives you an infinite number of choices, allowing you to use a sound probably not played before in the area you are hunting.

Sounds like I need to go shopping, but I think I better find some stuff to put up for sale to raise the funds unless I want to end up sleeping outside with the dogs...

Thanks, folks!

I'll put some crow sounds on my foxpro and use a hand call for rabbit sounds. Or I might put on fox fighting noises on the foxpro and back it up with a distress hand call.

Apparently I'm not smart enough to think of that on my own. That's a heck of an idea...

I just downloaded Cottontail Duet from FoxPro and used it very effectively on bobcats this winter, here in Iowa and Texas. I should try the Fox Fusion feature in my caller too, huh?

I replaced my old FoxPro Fury at the end of February with a Shockwave this year. With my Fury on at least 50% of my stands I would rotate between distress and crows or distress and fox with good success. I bought the Shockwave just for the Fusion feature. It definitely is a great feature but while scrolling through all of the mixed sound files on Foxpro's website I probably could have saved a bunch of money and just bought some new sounds. The deciding factor for me was the TX1000 remote, worth every penny in my opinion.

I had a dog this weekend get hung up about 300yds away and decided to high tail it. I flipped on a fox/rabbit combo and that dude came barreling. I then learned that my new high chair is too tall and I need an angle cosine indicator haha. Granted he was quite a ways down hill already I still missed. I say try them. Never hurts to give them something out of the ordinary
