Two Vets 55mm ball head

I just picked one of these up at a local shop and hunted with it this past week. I don’t see a lot of reviews out there. So I wanted to remark that it is really solid and made my hunting a lot more enjoyable. I have it mounted on a slik 700 tripod. It’s holding a 6x raptor and a 24” ar15, so it’s a relatively heavy gun…

Just wanted to share my experience for anyone looking at tripod and ball head setups.

I'm not a fan of ball heads even though I have one. I'm running a Leophoto YB75LC 75mm leveling bowl.

Leveling bowls are more solid than a ball head, and lighter weight. The only downside is the limited travel. I hunt flat and rolling terrain mostly as well as the Rockies and haven't needed the extra travel yet.

I have the same leveling head, takes a little getting used to but works great.
I hunt many hilly areas and have had enough 'travel' of the leveling head to suit my needs (so far)

That’s interesting, I wasn’t aware of this product during my research phase. I like the concept, seems to be a durable type of product.
