Does anyone know the types of African Deer in S. Texas? I am trying to find a list so that I can look at the species...

Any help would be appreciated!

There are no native African deer; only antelope (true antelopes, not pronghorn like we have in North America). That said, I've seen eland, kudu, several gazelles, and a few others. The most common are probably blackbuck (Indian) and axis (Polynesian I believe). You'll also see fallow deer in many places (European?), plus a variety of sheep. There are many more species of more exotic animals - red deer, Pierre David, barasingha, etc. - as well as the so-called super-exotics like sable.
