Unexpected night visitors

Yes, and as CS had asked, I have experienced both. The unwanted animals I just ignored and they left soon enough. The unwanted 2 legged ones I'm sure wondered how the heck can this guy that's yelling at me to leave the club property is able to see me in the pitch dark.

Owls, Fishers, Cows, Horses, Sheep, Skunks, Raccoons, Farm Dogs.

Not really a visitor, but I was on a very promising set once conversing with 2 different groups of coyotes when in the distance I heard a creaky screen door open and someone started hollering and banging pots and pans together! That went on for a few minutes. The only sound after that was snow squeaking under my feet and the cussing and bitching going on in my head!

A buddy got freaked out a few weeks ago. He was calling 150yds off of a woods, scanned through the edge of it towards a dirt road. He thought sasquatch was running through the woods. :ROFLMAO: Luckily it was a random jogger out at 11:00 at night in the middle of nowhere.

I have had domestic dogs, cats, deer, people, skunks, hawks, crows show up. And a possum cop one time came stalking in.

That would peeve me off.

here is how you handle that. buy a used E-call at a price so low that you dont care to get back. place it by that creaky screen door with the volume turned all the way up. go back to your set up and start hunting.

when that creaky screen door opens and the pots and pans start banging, cut loose with the loudest coyote barks or group howls you have on that call.

make sure to video the incident and post it here for us to enjoy :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

It has been addressed and hasn’t happened since. So the farmer that wanted the coyote situation addressed has a couple houses that he rents to his farm hands. Apparently the farmhand in question didn’t get the memo about his boss’ desire to eliminate coyotes. When I told the farmer the next morning, he was pissed! I honestly felt bad that I told him after hearing it was one of his guys that boned me up. I don’t think he lost his job or anything. Lol.

Deer, pronghorn, wild burros, bobcats, domestic dog (once), and badgers.

I have had a couple badgers show up. I hate to shoot them. I throw rocks at them to get them to turn around. It only works sometimes.

I don't shoot bobcats anymore. It is too easy. They just sit there. No challenge.

I called in a nosey neighbor one time in the daylight. Just shot a coyote with an unsuppressed 243, was on the hand call doing my best rendition of a wounded dog and here comes, the idiot. He walked right by the dead coyote and questioned my permission. I did have permission and told him he about stepped on a dead coyote. He was amazed that a coyote was on the place I was hunting. Sink holes, brush, old farm equipment laying around, coyote heaven.

Back in the days of red lights I saw large eyes coming. Next thing I know this monster was tearing down small trees. I’m not talking little sticks it was tearing down trees. I was by myself and it was about 2am. I am crapping my pants at this point because that thing is pizzed off. Now I catch another one coming in. WTF!!! I then heard the unmistakable cow sound. It was two young steers that the farmer let out but failed to tell me. Thank god there was a fence between us. Scared me so bad I Pa led up and left. But I laughed all the way to my truck..

There was this thing that just about made me piss myself when I turned to scan behind me! :ROFLMAO:
