You guys have any experience with unexpected night visitors while calling Animals you were not expecting
Both2 or 4 legged?
That would peeve me off.Owls, Fishers, Cows, Horses, Sheep, Skunks, Raccoons, Farm Dogs.
Not really a visitor, but I was on a very promising set once conversing with 2 different groups of coyotes when in the distance I heard a creaky screen door open and someone started hollering and banging pots and pans together! That went on for a few minutes. The only sound after that was snow squeaking under my feet and the cussing and bitching going on in my head!

It has been addressed and hasn’t happened since. So the farmer that wanted the coyote situation addressed has a couple houses that he rents to his farm hands. Apparently the farmhand in question didn’t get the memo about his boss’ desire to eliminate coyotes. When I told the farmer the next morning, he was pissed! I honestly felt bad that I told him after hearing it was one of his guys that boned me up. I don’t think he lost his job or anything. Lol.here is how you handle that. buy a used E-call at a price so low that you dont care to get back. place it by that creaky screen door with the volume turned all the way up. go back to your set up and start hunting.
when that creaky screen door opens and the pots and pans start banging, cut loose with the loudest coyote barks or group howls you have on that call.
make sure to video the incident and post it here for us to enjoy![]()
