I have a very unique flintlock I am thinking of selling and would like to share it here first. I have taken it to Cabela's in KC and created quite an interest from patrons and employees alike. Firearm is a smoothbore, weighs 44lbs (a real hoss). Bore size is very large. The mechanism was imported by James R. Golcher in the 1800's and firearm assembled around it. It was likely used to hunt waterfowl from the front of a boat but is in suprisingly great shape. Cabela's approximated its value at $2000 to $4000 but it is difficult to put a value on it. Any input or questions feel free.
