I'm just wondering if adding my mojo critter decoy to my coon calling would help pull the peekers out of the hole to get a shot. Has anyone used a decoy when calling coons with any success?
I always use a decoy, I get those stuffed toy coons from gander mnt, the ones that are hallow inside (I guess they are used as hand puppets). I bind it to the Edge Quiver Critter Predator Decoy Rabbit stick and it works. yes have had the coons get to a couple of them before we shot them and had my sons shoot one accidentally, works great. also had a few gray foxes lock in on them, great visual weapon.

Good thinking on the modified decoy. I was just at the farm store in town and they had one of the quiver critter decoys. Remembered your post and picked one up. I'm gonna pick up a stuffed coon like you did and make one up! Hoping it will help get some of the peekers I've been getting to commit! Thanks for the idea!
