Using a weapon mounted thermal as a clip on ????

I’ve been using my agm rattler v2 as a clip on and scanner now after the 2nd coyote missed on video I’ve realized it’s shooting low. So I guess when having a true clip on it needs colmunated is there anyway I can do this with my rattler before I dedicate it to a particular rifle?
 
I give you credit for trying that and having at least some success. I've researched this and basically it can present a massive amount of problems. I'm assuming you would just have to do a bunch of real world testing at various distances.
 
You have to zero the Rattler reticle first. That done, I would use the Rattler reticle for the shot. Day scope just magnifies the Rattler screen. Adjusting day scope for alignment would mean you play with it's reticle for day use. I have a red dot with mag behind it, just use the dot for shooting.
