I have never received and answer to the Question “Are prairie dogs and ground squirrels legal to shout in Utah?’ I know that the Utah Prairie Dog is endangered and protected, but what about the dogs in the north. What about rock chucks, or pot guts (Uinta Grownd Squirrels? I had a Conservation Officer tell me that they where protected, but I know people who shoot them all the time. I never do because I don’t know the laws and can’t find it in any proclamation. Does anyone out there know for sure.
