I think all optics have there little quirks now and then. I just sent in my Leupold 6.5-20 back as the cross hair dot had slipped down and to the left. Now I've got a West Germany scope that I noticed the vertical cross hair has moved over to the right half way from center to the far right.
Right now I have 7 Vortex scopes + 2 binoculars, range finder and spotting scope, no problems yet.
