Vortex has several "Tiers" of optics. The Diamondback/Crossfires are decent scopes, but when you step up into the Viper's you're talking Japanese glass, very rugged construction that go toe to toe with scopes sold for 2-3 times as much. Vortex's VIP Warranty is the best warranty out there, regardless what product line, top or bottom, in which you buy.
