The VX2s are good quality scopes for the money. I've got two, both 2-7x33s, one on my Knight muzzleloader & one on my Marlin 336. Great scopes for the money. All the other scopes I have (~6 of them) are VX3 3.5-10x40s which are very good quality. IMO you can't go wrong w/ a Leupold!
