warm weather shirt material

I'm looking for a camo, breathable, moisture wicking, long sleeve tee shirt. I've looked at the UnderArmor stuff a little and like what I see, but it's a little spendy. I also found some Kings Outdoor World "heat" wear. The material information on the tag says it is 100% polyester. Is polyester breathable and quick drying? I'd love to hear some other suggestions as well.

Check out the turkey hunters gear. There are several type shirts for warm weather hunting such as turkey, dove, early bow season, ect. I have a half dozen polyester camo shirts from Mossy Oak brand in their camo and they work very well. They are extremely lightweight, they wick moisture, they also dry quickly, and breath well. The better ones will have mesh in the armpit and back ares to vent heat.

Try checking out a uniform store, like where cops, firemen, etc. buy their uniforms. There is a shirt called a "Cool Shirt". They work great, but the drawback is they are white. Just wear it under under your camo shirt. It will help.

Thanks for all the information. I ended up getting a Kings Outdoor World polyester shirt. I wore it on a spot and stock bear hunt a few weeks back and LOVED it. I couldn't believe the difference it made. I like to excersize at least 2 hours a year and I really feel the pain in the mountains. Normally I'm soaked by the end of even short hikes. This shirt made the hiking much more comfortable. Too anyone in a similar position, I would recommend paying the extra cash to get some higher quality fabrics. They seem to work exactly as advertised.

I wear the Kings polyester shirt bow hunting with my buddy that is the ONLY way to go, especially wearing a pack. You take the pack off let it air out for a couple minutes its dry. LOVE it

I've got a perforated long sleeve tshirt in NatGear that I swear by in warm weather. Just the slightest breeze blows through the perforated holes in it and keeps you cooled down. I've called in over 100 degree weather in it, quite a few times.

I picked it up at WalMart in Arizona a number of years ago. I don't know where you'd find it online.

Nylon and polyester breathe and wick super well, but, they hold odor like it is nobodies business. You can wash them with white vinager and Doc. Bronners Baby Soap. That is only going to work for a little while.
Best to look high and low for a camo shirt made of lightweight Merino wool. No stink even if you don't wash it much. Wicks better and nothing maintains body temp better except natural silk!

Natural fibers is where it is at!
