Waterproof Snow Camo Coversuit?

I was wondering if anyone has a lightweight WATERPROOF snow camo coversuit that they would recommend? Something that will keep my a$$ dry when I sit down in the snow to make a call. I have a prairie ghost coversuit and like the camo, but I wear it over the top of Berber fleece (which will be what I wear the new one over the top of) and I end up soaking wet by the end of the day in the snow. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

My girlfriend got me a set of waterproof prairie ghost for -mas. Matching set of pants and jacket. I havent had it out yet so I cant tell you how well it works. I do like the looks of the pattern. I havent had much luck finding any pants in snowcamo that are waterproof. I have a matching set of snowcamo but the pants aren not waterproof. I just keep my a$$ out of the snow!!! LOL

Here is something you can do instead. Get yourself a set of water proof liners that will fit underneath your snow suit. This is what I have done. Works great and it's not loud either, since it's under everything.

One thing to be careful of is if it will make you sweat or not. Having it under your snow suit will create alot of heat. Make sure it's a thin breathable material.

One other option would be to get a seat that straps to your belt so that when you sit, you sit on the seat instead of the ground. As for your knees, maybe you could sew in some water proof lining to the inside of the pants or a cheap pair of sweat pants to wear underneath.

Just some ideas.

A piece of styrofoam to sit on works very well. It also blends in with the snow!!

Just don't move around a lot, styro SQUEEKS! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif

I use water proof camo pants with an oversuit of either winter camo, or a disposable white painters suit, depending on how much I am planning on doing, those suits are VERY disposable. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Paper Tyvek suit may be your best option...dirt cheap, and you can paint it if you desire. They also come in a coated version called a sarnac suit. I KNOW a sarnac suit is 100% waterproof, but they aren't near as cheap and they may make noise once they get frozen & brittle.

You might try some depends. Wear them right over your snow suit. They should keep your butt dry and you'll also look really cool!
