Wav. v.s. MP3

I've just created two calling sequences for my radioshack e-caller, one for snow geese and one for crows, but the sequence for snows is saved as a MP3 format, and the one for crows is a Wav. format. I was wondering if the Wav. format would still work on an MP3 player, or is there a way to switch from Wav. to MP3 format without having to redo an hour's worth of work? Also, would both formats be playable on a burned CD? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif

Thanks. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

BTW, I can post the sequences up on the board if you want to use them, but I'm not sure if I'd have to attach it or what? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif

It depends on the player you are using if both formats will play or not.

If you can find a copy of Goldwave, it use to be freeware, you can easily convert it to whatever format you want.

Your CD player will likely not play either .wav or .mp3 files. Unless it is a newer one, it likes .cda files.
If your mp3 player won't play a .wav file then get this little gem:
Jodix Free WMA to MP3 Converter at http://www.jodix.com/
It works really fast and doesn't screw you over like some of the trialware does. One in particular only converts about 80% of the file and if you don't know it, you've got a bunch of trash when you try to use the mp3.
