I've made several decoys using the Weasel Ball. The fastest, cheapest and easiest thing to do is put it in an old sock and hang from a bush or tree. If you want to get fancy but still keep it simple make a bag out of a rabbt hide for the ball.

what about a coon skin cap?

I tried one and it seemed excessively loud. I decided to scrap it.

It's noisy and you must disassemble it to turn it on/off.I gave it to our cat.
