anyone know where I can purchase one of these?
I think some guys use it as a decoy, and seems like it would do the trick. But nobody around here in Ohio sells them

thanks.

I find it kind of funny that they state on their website that they are animal friendly and we're getting buying their product to call in animals and pop snot out of 'em!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Found a knock off one at k-b toys.
I think I will put an eye hook in the ball so I can string it up on a low brush branch- so it kind of hangs and does its thing. If on the ground I think it will run into the dense brush where we hunt.

anyone use it in that way or what ways do you use it?

thanks.

Here is a pic of my weasel ball creation. Found a planter stand (cheap) and a gold digging pan and put some foam in the pan to keep old weasel ball from making a lot of noise.
The ball stays in the pan but the tail flies out and back in, it drives the critters crazy. Many times I forgot it was out there and thought it was a coyote coming in. Invested about $12.00

that is a wild lookin setup I cannot believe it works that way! Keep the ideas coming.

On the varmintal.com site this guy took the bottom half and took out the weight so the motor would move faster. Then he reconnected the tail piece and finally fastened it to a metal post. The tail piece now races around the lip of the motorized half. You can see it at this address:http://video.tinypic.com/player.php?v=4de3srt

The stand just goes in sagebrush and all that is visible is the gold pan. The problem with taking the counter weight off is it merely goes in circles. with the weasel ball in the pan it goes up and downthe sides in a very eratic movement.
