Weaver Scope Repair?

Anybody up here know of a DECENT Weaver Scope repair business who can fix a Weaver T36 having a parallax and possibly as turret issue? I found a company n Oklahoma, but they say it'll be 15 MONTHS before they can get to it. Now that's utterly ridiculous! Thx.

There used to be one of the chief repair staff for Weaver that started his own repair business in El Paso...I haven't heard anything about him for several years, but when I called him about repairing an ole Weaver 4x he gave me a very fair and decent estimate..

Maybe someone will know his name or his business..

I can't remember his name, but I found a phone number in an old address book. I would be surprised if he's still around.

Weaver has moved their repair in the last couple of years and I cannot remember where to. I sent a Tactical in for repair and got it back in a few weeks.

I believe you need to contact them first for a RGA#. I contacted them through CS I believe.

Just an FYI for those that are interested:

The guy's name was Frank Ruiz, and he closed up shop in 2008.

I can't remember, but just recently I asked the same question as was referred to the guy in El Paso. And it was 15-16 months. I can't find the info right now.

the newer weavers are covered by weaver (atk owned) to the original owner at the address given above.

I would suppose since you're asking that this is an older El Paso model. That Weaver company has been gone for 30 years now so it will be difficult to find anyone with direct company experience still operating.

Z, I see you are a fellow Montanan.
I had never heard of Iron Sight Inc.
Good to know there are other options for the Weaver.
Optical Services does several scopes, including the
Lyman STS and Unertle.
He has done 3-4 for me, and I have no complaints.
