I picked this up in a trade this week ,mounted it today and took it out for a test run . My .204 has been sitting in the safe for a while with out a scope so i figured it was a good candidate since coyote season is upon us. I have owned plenty of weaver scopes over the years and never had any problems with them,i rank them right there with my leupolds as far as quality goes. This scope is made in japan and appears to be high quality, the glass is excellent ,even at max power its super clear all the way out to the edges with very good resolution. The eye relief is really good and almost constant when turned from low to high power . It has an illuminated german #4 reticle ,just a dot in the center lights up red or green with 5 settings for each color,i prefer the green myself. The power ring is large with fine knurling and easy to grab and turn without slipping. The target knobs are uncovered and they lock in place so they have to be pulled up to turn . The clicks feel crisp and it seems to track well,i tested it with my leupold boresighter.
It has a 30 mm tube but one thing i noticed is not alot adjustment from what i can tell. But for a basic hunting rifle i dont need alot anyway. It is a heavy scope ,must weigh a couple pounds. So far im really impressed with this scope and hopefully it will be a keeper
