Hi I found a weaver tactical 2-10x50 how were these scopes are they good
scopes? Do they ha e fairly good glass and turrets? I’m going to look at one hopefully
I found it locally. Just was wondering if these were worth it. The turrets lock it looks like also has an Allen screw in the middle of the turrets and a side focus and looks to be illuminated by the knob on the back of the scope. Any advice
On this would be great.

I have not had that model but every model I have owned took a beating and still performed well.
Problem is I am pretty sure Weaver is out of business, meaning little to no warranty. I've heard you get a low level Bushnell scope as warranty replacement.

I own the weaver tactical in a ?-20x50 and its a very nice scope for the price point, I consider it on par with the vortex viper pst and the Burris xtr 2 as far as glass. The resettable and locking turret design is one of the best that I have seen anywhere near that price point. The only negative thing I have to say is the lack of adjustment if you are trying to dial for longer ranges.

Just to be clear I am referring to the weaver tactical ffp scopes, not the weaver kaspa brand, 2 different categories of scope

I have several Weaver Grand Slam and Super Slam scopes-they have very nice glass for the money. As kooman says-stay away from the Kaspa models.
