What about a Quail Call?

I was wondering if there is such a thing and if so do you guys think it would do any good.In the part of Tennessee where I live quail use to be abundant but now they're few and far between.I think that has something to do with the coyote population but I could be wrong.I just got to thinking about this the other day and wondered if anybody here has tried it.Thanks
 
They make quail calls...but for the use of calling in coyotes I dont know if it would work or not. You could give it try atleast. If it doesn't work, give it a go with quail calling. Jump a covey and then call them back.

I read an article just a while ago, I believe in predator extreme, about using quail and other bird sounds. I believe their conclusion was that you may get a curious coyote to come in but they didn't think you would have one charge you. They suggested trying to find an area where birds are present, start out calm and work your way up like the bird is being disturbed. This is just from memory I don't have the article. Maybe someone else has read this and will add a post to see if I got the jist.
