What ATV Rear Rack Bag Are You Using?

Mine has just about completely faded and is dry rotting. I prefer a camo in realtree apg but any camo would do? Checking reviews from Cabelas and Bass Pro looks like all have an issue or 2.

Which ones don't seem to fade too bad and provide a bit of cushion for the back passenger? I don't care much about storage space. Just camo and a good seat cushion.

I really like my cabelas trail tamer. Not does fade if you leave it in the sun all the time. Built in cooler is nice and hold its form well. Has a built in back rest that supports some weight. Mine is about four years old. other than fading it is good as new.

Over the last 8 years I have gone through a lot of bags. They have all faded and had other problems. I went to the hard plastic box instead.

i went to the hard plastic also got one in logan that had three of the good red plastic gas cans on it for 200.00 the cans alone were more than that.pioneer products got bought out and a dealer had a few of these left we bought 3 the hard ones are the way to go no zippers and you can lock them plus you can stand on them.

I have a Mad Dog bag. Its ok. All I can say is that zippers are a PITA. They lock up, split and just plain fail. I am going to hard plastic when I replace the one I have.

I have the Mad Dog Pro Series in Mossy Oak Break-up. Generally I really like the bag. Opening and closing the zippers gets old but I have had no issues with them. It has velcro and snaps on the covers too so I don't always use the zippers. I store my 4 wheeler inside so fading isn't an issue. I take the bag on and off to use a sprayer tank in the summer. It's very easy to put on and take off.

I'm sure a hard box would be more durable if that is your main concern.

If I were to buy another soft bag it would be zipperless. The Mad Dog I have also has the velcro and clips but fact of the matter is, with this style bag you need to zip up if you want everything inside to stay dry and dust free. If you just rely on the clips and velcro, your gear will get wet if its raining and if your going down dirty dusty roads, your gear will get dusty. I have had mine for a little over a year and a half and have gone on about 10 quad trips with it. The zippers have not totally failed but I tried to cheat and not use the zippers and paid for it with wet and dirty gear. Also, if you over stuff the bag, there is no way the zippers will close all the way. Just my experience.

I have American Trails brand and like it.
It's about 6 years old and still functions perfect, except for the fading.
After trying other brands, I won't buy anything that has zippers or velcro.
The ones I have have magnets in the edges to help closing them, and then they use a Fastex buckle to keep them shut.
I will seek out similar style when it comes time to replace these.
