What camo for your AR

How are you guys getting the camo on the AR,s? Are you having them dipped or what? Im getting my first next week and I dont think it will stay all black for long.I really dont want to wait for it to be dipped and wont have all of it camo anyway.
Are you painting them yourself or camo tape. I like Reb8600,s camo on his ar in the AR photo thread.
Where do I get a pistol grip with the round plate on the bottom?

McNett Camowrap works pretty well, and when you take it off there's no residue left behind.

I had it on my air rifle for about 2 years and it still came off slick, over an all-blued barrel.

One roll did my whole AR.

The grip is the DPMS ergo grip. As for camo, I kryloned mine for my New Mexico trip to hunt with Tony Tebbe. I used a khaki base with brown and OD over fishnet stockings. I swear it shoots better since the paint job

Glad to hear you like mine. Mine is painted with krylon paint. After the base coat I used a sponge to finish it up. I have a tan grip on it now instead of the black one.

here is my RRA 6.8, Bushy Predator, and Detech 6DTI in a camo I call Sand Tiger...it is very effective and of course it absolutely makes your rifle more accurate.

Can I ask how much it cost to have this one done and where you had it done? I love it.

+1 for Krylon or Rustoleum, base coat of camo tan, then I use either a sponge or brush or camo netting to get my patterns.
