What choke for crow

For years I used a modified choke in both 12 and 20 guage and had good success. I've used full chokes to many times, but seems for the type of shooting I do, a modified works well. I also have used more 7.5 shot than any other.

That's just the way it works for me.

Light modified in the bottom barrel and improved modified in the top barrel with a good heavy trap load of #7 1/2's has been a good combo for me.

I'm in the boat with 6mm and GC. I use a modified choke and a good trap load of 7 1/2 or 8 shot.

I have taken one with a turkey choke and a load of #5 turkey shot. If you can hit them it sure makes a black cloud! Only got one but my day turkey hunting was over anyway.

I use a IC in the bottom and LM in the top with 1 1/4 oz 7 1/2's with the OU but just IC when shooting the auto.

i've had better luck with improved cylinder or modified in both my mossberg pump 12 ga and my franci I-12 autoloader. both the factory choke and custom chokes in ic or m put more birds on the ground than factory full or custom full choke. i typically shoot winchester AA in 7 1/2 or 8. this is a fast load and patterns well in my guns.
