I just bought the whirling woodpecker. Tide some heavy fishing line around it's neck with a nut attached to the end of the fishing line.

Thought hanging the decoy up in a joshua or a juniper would get it up off the ground, so incoming predators could see it at a distance. Only cause I hunt heavy cover.
I like it, has brought in several predators close enough for my shotgun to speak to them..... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
