I personally don't shoot much rimfire... I picked up a used savage 93 for my son the other day and it has a cheap japanese tasco on it... I would like to put something a little better on it before giving it to him to increase his success with his first "real gun". I will be bringing him on a few predator hunts and to the p-dog towns and gopher hide-outs for the most part. I was just wondering how y'all scope your 22 WMR's b4 I start looking too hard into it. I would have a hard time putting a ziess or steiner scope on a 180 dollar rimfire, but this Tasco just won't cut it for me, or my 11 year old boy

I have a 4-12x40 Nikon Prostaff on mine. It takes some abuse and still holds its zero. I think I bought it for under $200. I would definitely buy another.

I have a Bushnell Buckhorn 3x9x36 that has worked out well for me. I tried a $50.00 Tru-Glow but I could not see into the shadows & it always looked foggy.

Ditto! After gettin one of these scopes for my 17HMR I decided I gonna get this scope for all of my rimfires. Very decent scope for $120 in my opinion.

Ive got to say the Mueller APV is a fantastic rimfire scope! Ive been very happy with mine and generally reccomend them to anyone looking for a .22 scope.
