like the ki yi ,weem ,whimper ,howl .Iam trying to understand the calls better .I noticed alot of members on here have hand call can someone recomend me some .

the kiyi is basically a dog in distress ( somebody else can clarify that dont use it much still learning it ) weem i have no clue new one to me , whimper is more than likely the female whimper when she is in heat , howls can serve several purposes like locating and callin them in .

i would recommend any of the calls made the guys on here ... Rick Robbins , Will Horting , Tony Tebbe and so on . you cant go wrong with these guys on here .

Ki-Yi is the word used to describe the sound a hurt coyote makes. It's also a hand call produced by Primos.

Weems is a call manufacturer as well. Particularly producing rabbit distress sounds.

Whimper is usually referred to as the "female whimper" or estrous whimper, etc. It refers to the sound a female coyote makes during breeding season when a male is trying to mate with her.

And a howl of course can mean any part of the coyotes vocalizations. Howlers are the hand calls that produce those sounds.

Hope this helps.
