What eats opossums?

The other,day while scouting behind my house,I found an opossum that something had for lunch. It was in a pine thicket so I couldnt find any tracks. The only thing left was the head, tail and the hyde. The spine was still there too. Whatever ate him just ate the "good stuff" and left all of this. He had chew marks on his tail which had blood on it but there was so many chew marks on his tail I wasnt able to see how big the individual bite marks was. I found some cotton tail remains near this same area but all that was left of him was a few piles of fur. I was guessing that a red fox that I had seen during bow season killed the cotton tail but could a fox have killed a full grown opossum?
 
crows, buzzards, and another possum eating the one that was just ran over on the way up the road. but i guess anything will if hungry enough, except me.

I eat 'possums. pretty good, too. Slightly greasy, but you eat them with a batch of greens and a little Tobasco.

Old black man who used to work for me as a welder is a great cook. He cooks different things for me and most of it is pretty good. Although, it is not a steady diet.

Everyone's a comic....that's a good thing...Git-R-Done, LOL. On a serious note for this fellow though, from my experiences when I use to trap, racoons would eat my caught muskrats if I didn't get to them first. I'm not sure if they eat possum, but after what I saw, I think it's very possible. Just a head and just a little string of fur leftover.

Now armadillo though, that's some mighty fine eatin. UMM GOOD, Texas pork!

I have ate coon and muskrat and beaver. Beaver meat is better than beef and comparable to tender elk loin. Muskrat is kind of sweet.

Never ate a possum but I would give it a try. Meat is meat, cept for skunk.
