What is your best patterning shotgun/load ?

I shoot combo guns so don't need to stretch things with the shotgun and handloads of 1 1/4 oz. NP BB's are proving to be the perfect load for me, easy on the shoulder and hard on the coyotes. for the longer shots I have the rifle barrel.

This one at 52 paces, BRNO 305 2 3/4" 12ga

I use 1 ounce of NP BB's or NP #2's in the 16ga out to 40 yards.
German drilling 2 1/2" 16ga

I just got done with some extensive patterning with my benelli sbe. At 40 yards with full choke the best was Winchester 4Buck 3 1/2". The federal 3" 4 buck copper plated and lead were both right on the heels of the Winchester.

I've been impressed with the Federal flight control wads.

Remington versa-max, federal heavyweight coyote BB, factory flush improved cylinder.

35 & 50 yards

LARUEminati those Federal Heavyweight BB patterns look pretty good to me! Since those Federal Heavyweight BB pellets are 35% denser than lead those loads will work great on coyotes or wolves.

That's pretty impressive with an improved choke !

Federal, Remington or Estate #4 buck from a Trulock .680 turkey choke. 100% pattern out to 40 yards. Haven't shot it past that yet.

What diameter circle is that 100% pattern in?

A 30" circle is way to big for doing patterns for most coyote loads.

Indeed! Really a testament to the flight control wad, otherwise my gun requires a turkey choke to get a decent pattern.

24"x24" sheets of paper.

I have shot Winchester Coyote loads for a few years. They have always been good. Just started using some Hornady Coyote loads as well, they don't seem to pattern as well my Winchester did, but we will see in the future, both of them are #00 buck. 12 ga shotgun, Full choke. I love shooting coyotes up close!!!!
