What off road lights should I get

Destroyer

I'm looking for some new off road lights to buy. I have narrowed it down to the Hella 4000 eurosport and the KC daylighters with 150 watt bulbs. Has any body used any of these lights. I want the lights to be real bright and last forever. But I don't want to have to get a high output alternator just to run the lights. Thanks

It's pretty hard to beat the KC Daylighters for the price. I've run the same set on three trucks and they've not failed me.

G'day Destroyer! I dont know where you can get them over there but lightforce are an excellent light and there super lite also.you can go to their website and have a look if you like. I have a set on my car and my 4x4 and they will boil a tin of water at 100 yards! Just kidding but they are bloody awesome!Their website is www.lightforce.net.au . Hope i've been of some help!

Yup, the Lightforce lights are pretty nice. They have adjustable lenses--like a Mag Light--adjusting from flood to spot. They also have various color filters as well, to include an IR filter for those of you with night vision devices.

A less costly alternative is a set of PIAA lights. Nice and bright, they also include a relay setup, at least the ones I got a while ago did.

A relay is the only way to go for a number of reasons, ranging from safety to brightness of the lights.
