What should I do, I bought some brass from a new member. I sent the money order, now he doesn't seem to want to send the brass. A lot of times he ignores me, other times he says he will send it later. Would it help to get a hold of one of the moderators, could they do anything? Thanks for any help.
 
Man that sucks... how long have they been a member?

ETA- NM, I see you said new member. You need to out this "new member" ASAP, lots for theft and fraud going on with other gun boards, more then in times past. I think there's a good chance you've been scammed.
 
A big red flag on WTB ads is being approached by new members, and they usually don't post in your WTB ad. They have little to no feedback and almost ALWAYS want electronic payment in forms that can not be refunded once sent.
 
That sucks. I hope it ultimately works out for you. Unfortunately this stuff happens far too often.

@Petey ... Did you happen to contact my buddy about the box of 458 ammo he has? I can personally vouch for him as a stand up guy. One of my personal friends and hunting buddies.

IF that was a USPS money order the local Post Master has the authority to launch mail order fraud. Trust me they are way more aggressive at it than any other form of LEO on the Federal Level. @Petey That would be my first step

I'm assuming you mailed them the USPS Money Order (but even if you didn't have tracking the mere cashing of the USPS is proof especially in a intrastate transaction occurred)
I hope you nail the individual I despise that action of some others.
 
I usually don't respond to any unsolicited sales from new members. I responded to a forsale add here from a known member and then got an unsolicited offer for the same model scope from a new member on only a month and 3 posts. I ignored it and he hasn't been back on the sight for over a month.

Yep ******* scammers are playing hardball over there. SHcom got bigger volume movement traffic in For Sale firearms and accessories, with also shitload of highend-$ items constantly changing hands. They did a lot of changing to the login format and member verification there also to help, but the onslaught is never ending from no morals ethics scamming trash.

I read some posts on here before I joined and for that reason I haven’t bought anything off the classifieds, especially when I see no other posts from them. I even pass on guys that do post.
It’s really a shame because there’s several things I’ve wanted, lol!!
