What the heck is Wally World?

It sounds like a hybrid between a water park with lots of water slides and a Texas flavored K-mart!!!! I have seen it named on this board about a gazillion jillion times.

I don't even watch TV and I have known what Wally world was for years.

I do think the term was first used in that Chevy Chase movie as a theme park.

We need to work on your education Locohead.

Forgot to add; Those K marts are on the way out. K mart has already declared bankruptcy and will maybe be bought out by Wal-mart. There are also rumors that Target might be interested, if the price is right.

Don't feel bad. I didn't know what it was either. I've been in a walmart about 10 times in my life so does that mean I'm missing something?

I knew it was from the Chevy Chase movie too but I thought it was a theme park or something. I go to Sam's club anyway.

Funny thing is these guys always talk like,"Should I buy it at Cabelas or Wally World?". I thought it must be a giant sporting goods store until someone said they bought an electrical switch there. Then I got confusified! LOL
