What type of shooting rests do you use?

Looking for recommendations for a shooting rest to be used from a shooting bench or table. Will be using it at the range and for PDs from a shooting bench.

Looking at seperate front rest and some type of bag rear rest. Not interested in a one-piece unit like MTM or Lead-sled.

Those cast iron ones look good but they also look rather short. Like they aren't tall enough. But I've never used one so I really don't know.

What do you like? Why?

I use a bi-pod and rear rice sock exclusively. The bi-pod will keep the rifle level if you get the model that has a rotating swivel with a nut to lock it in position. A rice sock is just that, a sock with about 1/4 pound of rice inside. Nice and solid and portable. You can use it easily right on the ground if the grass is short or prone in the back of a truck or off a bench.
