what's an H & R revolver worth?

Best thing to do with these is walk away fast. If it breaks it's one of the worst pain in the behinds to fix I've ever worked on.

Get a Rossi or Taurus or Smith or Ruger or just about anything else. I ran a small gunshop for years and just hated to see one of these things come in broken. I finally got to the point I just wouldn't take them in for repair.

they haven't been made in quite a while and parts are hard to get for them.

My 2 cents.

I have a very old H&R 922 it's a nine shot double action. Came down from my grandfather to my dad and then to me. That's the only value it has!!!! Terrible shooter.

I once needed 28 shots from that revolver to take a blue grouse sitting on a low branch at fairly close range. Yes, he sat there and let me reload and shoot till I got him! I'm not a great shot, but that was a one shot proposition to the Ruger MKII that I carry now.

I sold a nine shot break open last year for $100 in good shape. Don't miss it. I thought somebody started making them again. There are many other much better pistols that are affordable.
