Looks like a good gun. I had one for awhile when they came out. It had a 1/10 twist and shot great. The slower twists seem to be more for hand loading and getting the most of hot loads with the lighter barnes bullets. If you think of it as a 300 yard gun I wouldn't worry too much about the details. Silver state armory has good deals on several different loads. Mine shot best with the 110grn sierra or hornady bullets.
